Brother Bob, I haven't heard from him in weeks. I see his daughter Tina on facebook, shes' probably a lost cause. What a mess. The new home market is bad, but must be dead in amarillo. Approaching Alaskan Cruise time. Linda brought up writing a script for sea sickness patches. That's the first time I thought about it. Big Tom Luck: you have been on a ocean liner before, how did you do? Tina WR., you too have sailed, right? I don't see it happening but I could be wrong.

Riviera Maya

I exclaimed several times "paradise" during our Riviera Maya stay. The El Dorado royale was spectacular! You only had to reach for the phone from bed, you can call for a golf cart/ shuttle and barely have to move. Room service 24\7, gourmet food, coconut trees everywhere.

We flew first class, never spent a dime on food. Refrigerator stocked everyday with sodas & beer. The mexican staff were so kind and spoke good english. I could go on and on...........

BOB AND TINA

The is big trouble in little Amarillo. I feel helpless: there were some close calls, near misses, lack of restraint and bad behavior the past 3 months.
I tried the "extract from Amarillo" approach. I helped when no money was coming in for Bob and daughter. I call. I even considered moving them into moms room here in Dallas. Today, staying here is out of the question. Big difference in lifestyles and a "teenage" girl to boot.......

Linda booked an April all-inclusive to Mexico, below Cancun www.eldoradoresorts.com ( look for el dorado royale) . She needs to get away, work is stressing her. This is supposed to be a deluxe trip

Holidays

Bob and Tina stayed 5 nights here in Dallas. They got to visit Dorothy, all her daughters and their children. Bob hasn't seen Dorothy since the 80's when Dorothy and Henry were living in Mckinney. Bobby has not changed much. Tina is a typical child in this technology age, very interested in cell phones.

Bob said the building came to a halt in Amarillo, so he was able to travel to Dallas for a visit. A blessing for all.. Bobby helped me replace the gable siding on our house. That was huge, Linda and I are thankful he could help. It came our great.

Other projects during my Dec. 22-Jan 4 vacation included visiting our local landfill/transfer station, playing with Max the german sheppard, a #2 haircut, replacing our clothes dryer venting and a fair amount of rest.

LINDA

Yesterday, Linda told me how deeply she loves me. It has now sunk in, and it brings tears to my eyes.

She once told me, at that moment in the Cotton bowl (texas jam, 1982), she first looked into my eyes and fell in love (Journey was playing, and I think Linda had a tiny crush on Steve. I hate him).

I was 20, and I was running wild in Dallas, Texas. My direction was set that day. I wonder why I have everything in a person, I'm nothing special, although Linda makes me feel that way, 24/7. Is it luck? A religiou awakening? What....

in 1982-, She drove from Mckinney Tx. to Tulsa to see me while managing jobs, school and Chris. She even tried to "save me" when she pushed me away after her medical report came back positive in Tulsa. She told me to stay in Tulsa. I stayed with her and moved to Blue Ridge, Texas, and our life together took a new meaning (Texas, that is). Her love for me has never flickered.

I can't wait for her to wake up. I want to tell her how much I love her..............
