JULY 1, 2024

Its's been more than three years since Linda died. Maria has been living with me for two years, we phan to marry 02/24/2024. Just paid a venue to hold it for that day. I'm happy, Maria is a wonderful woman, I constantly tell her I don't deserve her. I've lost touch with Alicia and Judy, Linda's sisters. We always had Thanksgiving & Christmas at their houses. Alicia's son Tony died this year, another tragedy. Started camping at Lake Texoma again. Maria's daughter and hubby show up, they too love to camp. My house is fine, property values keep going up, but I don't want to sell. I love this East Dallas neighborhood, can't imagine where I'd go if I sold. Still working at DRS technologies, that's going good. Staying busy, whether it's bike riding or visiting Maria's family. Hope to stay busy, although my knees are a little sore in the morning. Age beginning to creep up on me (61). Retirement coming soon, although I do't think about it much. Maria can retire in two years, I don't know what she'll do. I think she'll keep working. I've suggested moving to Orange Grove, her hometown in south Texas. Who knows.

Bad here In texas, the cold has descimated the state. I still went to work, I've had a lot of practice driving on packed snow from my childhood. DRS Technologies did close today because of the pending second winter blast. Damm, I wanted to work, almost caught up. Lost touch with a co worker, he lost power ≈ two days ago, and I don't even know if he's alive. I'm sure his phone is dead. My fear now is they'll do something stupid like run pertoleum-based heaters in their house. That'yll kill them for sure. If the precipitation overnight wasn't ice like they predicted, I'm going to try to drive to his house, maybe get him to a home depot for a generator and space heater. Texas is barely handing one, but temps. above freezing promised by Friday.

Friday after Thanksgiving. Spoke to my siblings and some of their kids. Actually went to Sears for car maintenance, walked across the parking lot to Sears; bought a nice battery drill combo I've needed to years. Sad about Sears, their cash register is 20 years old. Took forever to check out. Walked the mall a little: millennials wandering around looking at their phones. Fuck. Had a great turkey meal Thursday, Friday we ate at Fish city Grill; great place to eat. Just Linda and I this holiday. That's not the norm, we normally go to her sisters house. This was nice, we don't need anyone around.

ANIMAL FLEX, WHAT A PRODCT!!! Co-worker told me about animal flex, a Glucosamine Chondroitin supplement. Works wonders for arthritis, try it. Don't know what to do with my life anymore, bored stiff. work, eat, sleep. Sold the boat, no more lake for us. Finally went to the Big Town gun show, met a lady selling CBD products there. Bought the full spectrum CBD for Linda, she's doing much better on the CBD and animal flex. Fuck, I don't know why I even do this, not a single person in the world gives a fuck about me. Definitely not suicidal, just board and disappointed with the world. Everyone wants things on their terms, no time for me. Still warm in Dallas Texas, hoping for cooler weather soon.

2019! I've been living the Dallas, Texas since '86. Mom died recently. We always visited her on her birthday and Thanksgiving. Linda and I are still together, hope it stays that way. I know no other life other than my spot in east Dallas. Exercising some, quit smoking a few years ago. I've removed most family and friends from my Facebook. Family never contacts me, friends from high school were never really friends: that took me years to figure out. Brother Bob is still living in Amarillo, Tx. He's ate up with diabetes. Years of drinking Budweiser caught up to him. Sisters Debbie and Lori are still good.

DALLAS TEXAS LIFE

Some things have happened since my last post in '13. Linda started a new job in Grand Prairie. Missed the entire 2015 season on Lake Texoma because of flooding. We finally boated June 13. It was a Monday, no body on the lake. Opened up the boat in the middle, it was great. Saw the family recently, everyone looks great. Linda and I are traveling back this Thanksgiving to see them again: mom is getting old. Still in the same house, almost paid off. Had a car wreck '15, survived it. Brother Bob is bad, suffering with diabetes. Really bad. Linda is as great as ever. Life ain't too bad..

ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES

7 months into the e-cig. crazy. SO HAPPY! Both Linda and I feel so much better, don't stink, have more energy, didn't spend $2,000 on analogs (real cigs.). Digital cigs. (electronic cigs.) are so easy to use. The latest e-cig. I have is the Vamo V3, a big hitter. My favorite liquid vendors are Heathers Heavenly Vapes, goodejuice, ahlusion and naturally-extracted-tobacco.com. I'm sure the tobacco industry is out to get the e-cig. people, they make so much sense.
